Michelle Foil is everything I believe a nurse should be - caring, compassionate, strong, and smart. She provided me with the best care I have ever received, and when I thanked her, she said "That's my job." So add humble to the praise list.
I was in great pain, and having difficulty with hospital processes that said I was already discharged. She helped me understand what was happening, listened while I railed against circumstances, and she continued to provide excellent care. I am usually calm and quiet, until I am pushed too far - then I explode and have a meltdown. She calmly supported me through all of it, helped me to recover my composure, assessed my pain level, and suggested another course of action. She is the very best! I was so pleased each shift when I saw her smiling face. I knew I was in excellent hands! Thank you Michelle!
