I had surgery and I have a permanent colostomy and an open wound. When I got back home, my usual nurse was on vacation, so Michelle came to my home. Michelle was very pleasant and caring. Once Michelle checked my wound she felt I had an infection. Working with an out of town doctor is no easy feat. She was able to get the surgeon to prescribe an antibiotic which was what I needed to start the healing process. Michelle arranged for me to see Dr. M at the wound clinic. Michelle is a great asset to Mercy Health. I truly appreciate all she did for me.
I want to thank Michelle for their encouragement and being an advocate working with the doctors. I am where I am today because of her.
