If every nurse made people feel like Michelle made me feel the world would be a better place.
In my 2 day stay at Arnot I of course had many wonderful nurses and assistants, but Michelle topped them all. Michelle caught that my blood pressure meds didn’t have a restriction on my pressure being too low to take them, so we spoke to my Doctor and had it added that if my systolic is below 110 I should not take them. Michelle also walked me through all of the meds I would be taking and what they did along with doses and even offered to ask the pharmacist to come up and answer any questions.

Michelle made sure I was comfortable leaving the hospital and that I would be able to care for myself with problems. She made sure I knew that I could go to the ER if I had severe symptoms and that it was okay. Michelle and I talked about our families and the quirks they all have. Michelle even took the time to answer my wife's questions, even though that clarified I was not to ride my motorcycle for a month. If every nurse made people feel like Michelle made me feel the world would be a better place.

When coming to the hospital, we noticed how well the nurses treated the patients and family. One nurse – Michelle – stood out as extra kind, extra nice, very knowledgeable, and very educational. She took the time to teach us about everything that was happening with our father and husband in a very pleasant way. We couldn’t wait to come visit in the hope that Michelle was Dad’s nurse.

Michelle has a pleasant voice when speaking to patients and family. Sometimes she was very funny in her stories.

We were very impressed that she is still furthering her education to be a nursing coach, and we hope that she attains her every goal. If we ever have to be in the hospital as a patient, we hope to have Michelle as our nurse. We wish her a happy life. She deserves much happiness.
