Michelle Gryn, BSN, RN

Michelle is an exceptional nurse. I wish I could give a specific example of how she goes above and beyond, but I can't because every day she continuously gives her all to our patients, families, and staff members. Michelle serves as our Peri-Op charge nurse. In other words, she is the go-to girl. She goes above and beyond by coordinating with anesthesia, surgeons, Peri-Op, PACU, Post-Op, OR, CNAs, child life specialists, EVS staff, and more on a daily basis. She is the glue that holds Peri-Op together. Michelle exudes positivity and encourages optimal team morale all while balancing the many tasks she completes during each day that could very easily cause her to become stressed or frustrated. Michelle is quick to jump in to help her teammates when staffing is low to ensure that the schedule stays on time and that her team feels supported. Michelle is the epitome of someone who provides compassionate care and sets an outstanding example as a role model to those around her. Michelle, you are an extraordinary nurse and an inspiration to us all! Congratulations, you make us proud!
