She truly listened to me and my family and made sure my needs were met during my care, helping me to heal. If I had a question, she had an answer; and if she didn’t know, she found out in a timely manner. I was very scared and her expertise helped to boost my confidence! She helped me through some very tough times with bowel issues, cleaning me up & changing my dressing & replacing my urostomy stoma bag without it being embarrassing for me. Her attitude & smile was something I looked forward to! I had her as my RN on a couple of different days and then I was so happy to have her my last 3 days in hospital!

She is professional AND compassionate & kind. If I asked to walk, she would take time to walk with me. (Walking was a big part of my healing). She took TIME to speak with not only me but also with my family — and believe me there were Lots of questions! She talked to my social worker to get things done. She requested answers from my surgical teams, doctors & therapists. She updated my chart expeditiously so I could be discharged quickly and seamlessly. I just feel that she went Above and Beyond!!! I am deeply grateful to her. She is the epitome of what I think a nurse should be! You know She CARES!!
