Michelle made my mother feel at ease from the moment they met. This was not an easy task especially since my mom was extremely anxious about what was going on, high blood pressure, headaches, chest pressure and she found out immediately before arriving to the ED that her best friend of 50 years had passed away. Michelle did such an excellent job of explaining everything to my mom from her elevated blood sugars to her blood pressure meds and her diuretics. My mom who is a physician herself stated how much she learned from Michelle. Based on their conversations, Michelle adjusted the timing of my mom's medications and made sure that she spoke with the hospitalist so the meds could stay on the same staggered schedule upon discharge. My mom's AVS was super clear because Michelle took the time to carefully explain these changes and color code and highlight all the changes for my mom. I will be forever grateful. Michelle is the epitome of an Extraordinary Nurse.
