While at my appointment we confirmed that my baby no longer had a heartbeat. It was a long and difficult day for my husband and me, but my doctor’s nurse, Michelle was a blessing to have in that difficult time. She checked on me multiple times and expressed how sorry she was that I was going through this difficult time. The following day I received phone calls from her checking on me and helping me get one of my prescriptions switched to a different pharmacy when my pharmacy wasn’t able to get it. Michelle also took the time to answer all of my questions in the following days. She even took it upon herself to get ahold of a Carle location closer to my home to get me all the information I needed for when I started getting my weekly blood work done there. The world needs more nurses like Michelle who go above and beyond to make you feel loved and cared for, especially when you’re going through such a difficult time.
