Michelle took care of a young man declared brain dead. She provided care with the utmost compassion. Most importantly, she supported the devastated family that included this patient’s parents, siblings, etc. I sometimes wonder if God divinely intervenes as the charge RNs create assignments because so often our bedside nurses rise to the occasion and establish uniquely strong emotional bonds as they perform, support, facilitate, and serve. It was like Michelle was a gift to this family and they were so grateful. Please recognize her incredible efforts at the bedside. When she is here she gives every ounce.
