My husband and I were in a terrible car accident and as a result, my husband suffered a traumatic brain injury and was sent to Craig for rehab. Michelle was his nurse through his first month and took amazing care of him. He underwent a cranioplasty while at Craig and about a week and a half later, he woke up with swelling in his head. Michelle took my husband to Swedish for a CT and during the scan, things took a turn for the worst. Michelle did not hesitate and took immediate action and rushed him to the emergency room. They later learned that he suffered a bleed and a stroke. Had it not been for Michelle’s quick action, things could have been much worse. Michelle could have possibly saved my husband’s life and for that, I am forever grateful. Since his return back to Craig, she has been nothing short of amazing! She sets the example of what a great nurse should be! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
