Michelle was more than just a nurse; she was an advocate, friend, and cheerleader. She treated us with kindness and compassion. She offered reassurance when it was needed most. Michelle came to work on the night shift and greeted my mom with a huge smile and a warm hug. It was the first time I genuinely saw my mom smile since she was admitted. She listened to Mom sing her favorite song while also holding her hand. As a nursing student, Michelle is the kind of nurse that I one day hope to be.
