God places people into our lives for a reason, ICU nurse Michelle was the nurse placed in our lives when my brother was brought in in critical condition, and difficult choices had to be made by my mother. Michelle is a skilled nurse who provided empathy and support to my mother, sister, and me during an extremely difficult time. Michelle is the epitome of what every nurse should be, kind, caring, and compassionate, with excellent communication skills that helped ease the anxiety and stress we were all feeling. Although we had to say goodbye to our loved one, we would like to thank Michelle for all that she did in a short period of time, she will always be remembered as the one who understood what we were going through and the positive impact she made with reliving my mother’s anxiety about the choices she had to make. I know my brother cannot speak for himself, but I know that he would thank her for the kindness and respectful care she provided to him during that time.
