I recently was in Kootenai Health for revision surgery of a fracture that would not heal. I would like to commend you on all your staff as they did an excellent job taking care of me. All the staff was friendly, cheerful, and professional. They made me feel comfortable and well cared for during my entire stay. I would like to recommend an RN for the DAISY Award.

I have been an RN for 40 years and have a high standard of care in how I take care of my patients. Michelle was excellent in everything she did. She was kind and considerate, warm and courteous, empathetic and professional in everything she did. Her communication skills were excellent and when complications arose, she was right on top of everything, from the nursing care required to advising me and letting my family know what the delay was moving me from recovery to my room. In every aspect of her bedside manner, she excelled. She got along well with the other staff, and it was obvious that she is well-liked and respected as a valuable team member.

As you can tell I was very impressed with her total nurse persona. She is an asset to your facility and would be someone that I would have enjoyed working with during my career.
