Michelle goes above and beyond. She makes the phone calls that are needed, the extra visits, and she makes you feel at ease. Things can really be challenging when you come out of the hospital.

I had half of my lung removed and really didn't expect all the challenges I would come home with. Michelle was sent to be my M.D.H. Home Health nurse in Havana. She took all that anxiety away. She listened to my questions, made sure to answer them, and communicated very well with my doctors and me.

At first I didn't think I needed any help, but she swept in, and I thank God she did. I just would like to say she went above and beyond. She represented Mason District Hospital Home Health 100% and more.

The world needs more Michelles. The care and compassion she showed meant a lot. She is definitely one of a kind. She took over my worries.

Michelle has been our home health nurse for many years. My husband of 65 years was home and not answering his phone while I was getting inpatient care here at Mason District Hospital.

When my husband did not answer her phone call, she drove to our home to check in on his well-being. After making sure he was OK, she called me to let me know he was okay.

She started as our home health nurse but has turned into our friend.
