Michelle was nominated by fellow RN who trained with Michelle almost a year ago and thinks about one particularly difficult shift regularly. Throughout her training, Michelle made a huge impact, and shaped the way she cares for patients today.

She says, “Michelle is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. We faced challenges on that shift, but she never let it get to her. She continued to provide excellent care to her patients, and even help other nurses on the floor, all while training a new nurse.”

She recalls that Michelle remained calm and confident through dealing with several difficult situations, keeping her focus on the patients’ well-being and safety.

“There have been so many times over the last year when I’ve stopped and thought, ‘what would Michelle do?' She is a huge asset to our staff and patients and should be recognized as such. I am proud to know her and hope to be more like her as I advance my career here at Bethany."
