Tonight we had a child brought in by the police for severe abuse/neglect. Michelle volunteered to take 1:1 care of this child. During her assessment, she learned that the child needed clothing, a shower, tooth brushing and more. Michelle found clothes for the child from her own home, provided a shower for the child and the necessities for the child to be hygienic. She went above and beyond to care for this child and deserves this DAISY Award.
