December 2019 Honoree
michelle ludwick, RN
Back in early March I slipped on the ice and had to have surgery with metal. My system kept fighting some mysterious bacteria instead of healing the humerus. I had several culture surgeries and they eventually had to take the metal out and start a new protocol. All my home visit nurses were fine, but Michelle stood out to me. At one point, I had drainage tubes that I thought would require outpatient surgery to remove, but Michelle took care of it in my home and kept me pretty pain-free. She is very skilled and I am so grateful. I want to say thank you. When a patient is that fragile and receives such excellent care, it is very precious! Please thank her again for me!
Thank you, Michelle, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
