While performing leader rounds, I met a patient. This gentleman and his wife simply lit up and gushed about Michelle when I asked how his nursing care had been. He stated "that girl is absolute dynamite. She is smart, witty, knowledgeable, and has the biggest heart of anyone I've ever met. She is the most compassionate nurse who has ever take care of me." His wife stated, "I am a registered nurse and she is hands down the best nurse he has ever had." The patient was being transferred to another facility and made sure to share a huge hug with Michelle before he left and thanked her for everything she had done for him. Witnessing this embrace, brought tears to my eyes and made me glow with pride. A million thanks to Michelle for her exceptional care every day.
