My wife T was operated on for breast cancer. For me, it was an uneasy feeling. While the surgical team assured me they would give her exceptional care, I wondered about me, alone in the waiting room.
Then popped up a remarkable person, Michelle Meredith-Schell. Michelle kept me in contact from the Alpha to the Omega. Her ability to smooth away the wrinkles of un-easy feelings was most appreciated.
The color-coded location board as to where the patient is in the surgery process is good. However, the comforting, assuring words of Michelle cannot be replaced with any mechanized, artificial intelligence.
I know not what other duties Michelle is assigned. However, I am sure she attacks them with the same accomplishment as above. Truly an asset to Ascension. I hope that Ascension will recognize this grateful service shown to me.
