Michelle is also a great resource to staff due to her ICU background. It is a pleasure to work with her and have her as a leader.
Michelle is an amazing leader. She not only advocates for staff but is always willing to help on the unit. Michelle has jumped in to do everything from Foley care, answering phones, call lights, taking patients to the bathroom, and even watching patients so staff can take lunch or go to a committee meeting. Michelle leads her staff and the nurses in the hospital in best practice Initiatives. One that comes to mind is the Foley and central line huddles. This is just one way she puts best practices into action and supports staff to give high-quality care.

Michelle also advocated for the professional advancement of staff. She has done this and advocated for staff to go to Nurses Day at the Capitol and NTI in Denver, get promotions, conferences, certifications, advanced degrees, and Excel. Our staff has had many opportunities to rise to their potential because of her leadership. Michelle is also a great resource to staff due to her ICU background. It is a pleasure to work with her and have her as a leader.
