Nurses impact patients across the care continuum, and the IMPACT team is proud to recognize Michelle Michaelis, RN as the first FPN nurse to receive this recognition. She provides nursing care in the FPN Neuroscience Specialist practice with the Rehabilitation providers. She was nominated by a team member who began the nomination by saying, "Michelle is one of the kindest, caring, compassionate, patient nurses that I have had the fortune of encountering." The nomination described a patient situation where Michelle impacted a patient so significantly that the family came back to thank her and teared up when they gave her a hug and let her know how much she had done for them. Finally, the said in Michelle's nomination that she could be nominated EVERY month for the DAISY Award because she demonstrates our Franciscan values every day!
