Michelle Nakhoul was nominated by one of her patients, who said,

"Scared, tired and emotional, I was greeted by the night shift nurse. Instantly, I felt at ease and safe. Michelle was so nurturing, kind and compassionate. Being a nurse really must be her true calling."

The patient was admitted through the Emergency Department, and notes that being a young, healthy individual who works in health care, she never imagined herself being a patient. She credits Michelle with getting her through a difficult night, and appreciated being reassured about her diagnosis. According to her nominator, Nakhoul "is an absolute doll".
