She never rushed through her duties and took her time to actually care for her.
Michelle is a ray of sunshine. She was very in tune with my mom’s needs and carried them out and beyond. She was so caring and nice. She talked to my mom in a gentle tone and didn’t just “do her job” Anything my mom needed, Michelle would do her best to achieve. She never rushed through her duties and took her time to actually care for her. Caregivers, no matter what, are God’s angels in a sense. It takes special people to do what they do. She and mom shared many moments of happiness, laughter, and conversation. That’s part of their medicine, caring and doing her job above and beyond. Michelle checked in on her just to make sure she had no needs. Being gentile as she was and focused to do her job, she did just that and I wish all health care people could have the positive, kind, caring attitude as Michelle does. I will say others didn’t come close to how she took care of my mom, in her actions and tone, and disposition. Even though my mom was very sick, she couldn’t wait to see Michelle. People make differences in other lives by their actions, and she did that as well; that speaks volumes. After 4 days there, there were many faces of healthcare providers; however, there are only a rare few who stood out and are deserving of the award. Michelle truly is an example of who should receive it.
