A patient's daughter came to the check in area saying she thinks her father has fallen in the restroom. Michelle reacts immediately, grabbing gloves and runs to check the room, determining she has a man down. Unlocking the door, she proceeds to help this elderly veteran regain his composure after having soiled himself. She and an assistant, cleaned him so compassionately that when the patient came in several months later and asks if she recognizes who he is, Michelle says "yes, I helped you in the restroom once." he said "I wanted to thank you again for taking care of me with such compassion that I did not feel embarrassed about the situation, you are a wonderful lady. You were able to recall who I was when I asked and for that I am grateful."

Michelle went out to hug this Veteran and he gave her a small box of candy to show his appreciation.

Michelle is a compassionate nurse and helped this Veteran get cleaned up and off the floor in a way that kept his dignity in tact.
