A Medical/Surgical Unit patient and family member complimented the attention and service received over the previous weekend by Michelle Pickens. The ICU Team is great, but Michelle really followed up on everything in a very prompt manner. As a hospital Director was rounding on the floor, the patient's family member received a phone call, and when completed, commented to me that the caller was Michelle phoning to apologize for failing to bring popsicles to the patient the previous evening. She did ask another employee to deliver the popsicles since she was out, but still phoned to apologize. The patient and family member could not say enough wonderful things about Michelle's service.
