My 78-year-old mother was a patient on 2 West. She was on a roller coaster of health challenges—low sodium, a UTI, confusion, and waves of anger, sadness, and fear. Our entire family was worried because we didn’t fully understand what was happening.

Through it all, Michelle Rose worked diligently, helping both my mom and our family understand her condition and the recurring issues she was facing. Michelle Rose took the time to explain everything to us—sometimes more than once—until we truly understood. She also reached out to all of my mom’s doctors and went above and beyond to get to the root of why her sodium levels kept dropping, which was causing her confusion and lethargy. This was frightening for us, but Michelle’s persistence gave us comfort.

Each day, we looked forward to seeing Michelle, knowing my mom would be in capable and compassionate hands. Michelle Rose’s devotion and skilled passion for my mother’s well-being left a lasting impression on us. She stood out as a nurse who consistently went above and beyond for her patients.
