I always looked forward to Michelle's smile and check-in and check-out every day that she worked. That is what got me through my stay.
I was admitted to the ICU from a 6th-floor room after my doctors believed I could benefit from a monitored BIPAP. I arrived in the ICU, in a no visitor and limited contact room, and met Michelle who became my angel. I want to let you know that all of the staff I had contact with were great, but Michelle was much, much more.

She took the time to have conversations with me, including a very special spiritual moment when we both felt the prayers I was receiving in the room. She looked after my meals and made sure I got them with everything I needed and more in some cases. she took an extra shift to check on me, and when I was negotiating the BIPAP and attempting to lay on my stomach which created major back pain, Michelle came up with the heating pad that got me through the night, depends and hot water in a surgical wrap, no other nurse even knew what it was until Michelle left the instructions in my chart!

Michelle also spoke to my wife regularly which helped put her at ease over my absence. I always looked forward to her smile and check-in and check-out every day that she worked. That is what got me through my stay. Having been a CEO and striving to have compassionate and skilled employees, who can think out of the box and take the time to interact with our customer base. Michelle is all of those things and more, and for my stay at your facility, she was truly an angel sent from above.
