June 2020 Honoree
Michelle Rosales, RN
I was so fortunate to have Michelle as my nurse during the second week of hospitalization. Michelle was always friendly, cheerful, and professional. She has a very caring heart. On Friday, I was kind of feeling very sad, I was crying because I was just diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder. Michelle asked me if I would like to take a shower. A simple act of making me feel better. My first real shower since my hospitalization. She made sure I had everything I needed, like soap and plenty of towels. While I was in the shower she changed all of my bedding, brought me extra pillows, and wrote an encouraging message on my bulletin board. At that moment, I knew God had sent Michelle as a blessing into my life. I am so thankful she was my nurse.
Thank you, Michelle, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
