Michelle is an amazing nurse and provides care that is unmatched. I have seen her sit and hold hands with patients while they are getting bad news, comfort family members in times of need, and on this particular day, color and be there for a patient with special needs. Today's shift, which has been tough on everyone, didn't stop her from being there for this lady. She even got a wheelchair for her so that she could sit next to her while she is professionally juggling all her other tasks.
Michelle goes above and beyond. As a co-worker, she is always willing to help or provide solutions to problems. She truly is a kindhearted person who we should all strive to be. No task is too small or too large. She always has the biggest smile on her face, even when things are tough. I am fortunate to have her as a co-worker, she teaches me so much about nursing, but even more about how to live a truly optimistic life. I don't think she truly knows how she changes people's lives for the better and I want her to know that she has changed mine and I am grateful for her.
