This was my first baby; I had an idea of how I wanted this experience to be hoping for the best. I live in Tacoma but researched the locations and chose Covington Medical Center because it was smaller and newer. I wanted it to be intimate and personal instead of feeling like just another patient. I knew I wanted to listen to my body and feel supported in whatever way to deliver a healthy baby. The staff was AMAZING! It truly takes a special type of person to assist in delivery. I was so blessed to have my Michelle the entire time. She is truly an angel! By far one of the most caring, genuine people I have ever met. She was so encouraging and helpful as I pushed through the pain. Her positive attitude and big heart motivated me to keep going. She went above and beyond to take care of me and my daughter. She even supported me and talked things out after a family issue arose and she comforted me in making life decisions like the name on the birth certificate. She guided me to go through some of the hardest challenges of my life. I am so grateful and will never forget this beautiful woman. I am forever grateful for her!
