Michelle was recognized by a patient whom she helped care for during and following a C-section delivery. After they were delivered, Michelle led the initiative to immediately begin skin-to-skin contact while the operation concluded, helping the patient hold her son and daughter for the first time. "The raw emotion of being able to hold my children moments after birth was overwhelming!", the patient shared. She went on to say that Michelle's support and kindness were essential to her experience. "I will treasure those first memories with my children and am grateful she was there to facilitate them."
