Michelle Trentham, BSN, RN

I have worked with Michelle as my unit director for almost a decade, and throughout all of these years, she has always handled everything thrown her way gracefully. She is always very supportive of her staff and willing to help when we need it in the unit. She is never afraid to step into a staff nurse role when we need a lot of help on the unit, and that is very admirable to me because not every unit director is willing to do that. She is constantly seeking ways to expand our education and foster fellowship among co-workers by being directly involved in all huddles and the unit's shared governance. Michelle always gives her 110%, and I feel that she deserves all the recognition in the world. She is constantly putting out fires left and right and always goes the extra mile, all while carrying herself with so much grace. She is the perfect balance between being an excellent leader and making us feel like a family. I can't think of a more deserving unit director for this award than Michelle Trentham, and I hope that you strongly take her into consideration
