Michelle Trexler, RN

My husband was admitted to TCF. He had a hematoma removed and needed to be cared for after this to regain his strength. He has short-term memory loss, and this transition was very difficult. He was confused and anxious for the first few nights and developed an asthma exacerbation. Michelle was on the night shift and was very helpful in reassuring him. She checked on him regularly and contacted other spectacular people to help him recover.

Michelle also explained things to me and what to expect when he was scheduled for debridement surgery and then a skin graft, she was so reassuring, kind and caring every day she was on duty. We both very much appreciate Michelle and her sincere compassion and skills. My husband was always calm when she was on duty and that helped me to be able to go home with confidence that my husband would be cared for well.
