Based on the positive ways the doctor/all involved parties responded, I have to believe she did it with firmness and respect and acted as a mediator so all parties came out affirmed with a better understanding and the issues were resolved.
My husband C had a massive heart attack in September 2020, and by the grace of God and the skill of his doctor, he survived. Recently, I brought C to the ER with low BP & the flu. He was admitted for observation. The doctors responsible for his care were not cardiologists and I was concerned because they were making decisions related to his cardiac care. I wanted the decision to hold certain meds to be made by a cardiologist. The doctor I spoke with did not seem open to that idea. I went to Michelle with my concerns, frustrations & fears. She assured me they were important and that she would take action to make sure they were addressed. She acted quickly and tastefully and got great results. Based on the positive ways the doctor/all involved parties responded, I have to believe she did it with firmness and respect and acted as a mediator so all parties came out affirmed with a better understanding and the issues were resolved. My husband had a 10% chance of survival when he had the heart attack in 2020 and to this day we both have deep fears anytime there is a heart issue. I really don’t know how to explain the depth of my appreciation for Michelle and what she did. It wasn’t just resolving a disagreement. It was ensuring my 72-year-old husband, with an EF of less than 20, whom I love with every ounce of my being, got the medical care he needed. Michelle is the epitome of a DAISY Nurse.
