There was one particular nurse that is a part of the PCU unit who treated my wife and my family, she was outstanding in her compassion and understanding of what grief we were about to go through - Mickayla Rohrer. My wife's days were numbered, but she made us so comfortable. She took the time not only to care for my wife but also to talk to each member of my family individually. There was a connection that I can’t quite explain to this day. June came home to us on hospice three days before her death. Since her discharge from the PCU unit, Mickayla Royer has kept in contact every single day to make sure I have my family. Mickayla is a very special person, and my family will be forever grateful.
