My 77-year-old mother broke her femur and was hospitalized. Mickey was her day RN for two days. My mother has dementia and many other conditions that caused severe pain for her. I was worried if she would be able to eat her meals when I was unable to be present. I learned that Mickey not only provided her with great medical care, he even cut up her lunch meat to ensure that she could eat. This impressed me and brought me comfort. Talk about going the extra mile! I have worked in a hospital setting and I know the demands of this job. That is what makes Mickey's attention to detail even sweeter. He treated my mother with respect and dignity and just the person she is. We need more Mickeys in this world! Thank you, Mickey!
