Micki Jackson, RN II

This nurse is just remarkable. She has such a high knowledge of her profession and is very acutely aware of what’s going on with her patients. One day, while on shift, she walked by a patient’s room and heard this gentleman very confused and restless. This was not her patient mind you, but she stopped in to try and comfort him. After saying a prayer, she then took his hand and sang him a song. This was a very special sacred encounter and these are the types of things you will catch her doing on a daily basis. What better way than that to show our values to a patient. Thanks for being awesome.
