...This may sound trivial, but Mieke never woke us up if we were sleeping. Being 10 days post partum, struggling to breastfeed, with my sick baby in the hospital and a 2 year old at home, I'm exhausted. Mieke let me and my daughter rest, while never neglecting my daughter's needs or care. She could take my baby's vitals without disturbing her sleep! It was incredible. She made sure I was fed and hydrated which was above and beyond considering the concentrated and highly involved effort she was making on my daughters part. Not only could I sleep, I could sleep well, knowing that my baby was in Mieke's caring hands.
