December 2025 Honoree
Miesha Saucier, RN
When I was first brought into the hospital, I had maggots falling out of my leg and foot. I freaked everyone out, and no one wanted to deal with me. When they took me up to my room, it was like the smell, and the way my leg looked didn't even faze Miesha; it was like she didn't even notice it. She made me feel like a person who mattered. When they wanted to amputate my leg, I lost it. I had the worst panic attack, and she was there to help. She has never let me go when I was hurting. I have never seen a nurse go above and beyond as she has.
Thank you, Miesha, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
