Miguel A. Chapa, LVN

Miguel is a model for anyone who is or wants to be a nurse. He's done a great job of making my difficult situation as good as it can be. He is always right there when I need help. He sincerely cares about the patient first. It is not just a job; his heart is truly in his work. I think that is so rare. I was "not wanting" when he was my nurse. I so appreciate him.

I was in bed crying and crying and so scared. I turned to him and said, "Please pray for me." He held my hand, wiped my tears, and said, "The whole staff is here for you to get better." He took both hands and said a small prayer. This made me feel confident and safe that Miguel and his team would take care of me. I was not afraid to be as sick as I was, thanks to him.
