They're an excellent leader that promotes safety, fairness, and good ethics in our department. This leader always makes themself available, and they're always a phone call away when needed. They encourage staff to make suggestions and to take part when making decisions that will support a positive work environment. They have very clear and accessible departmental policies in place for us to follow when something is needed or required. They take their own time to train new members the first day, and make sure they invest quality time in the staff so we can handle the workload and become independent. They always reply to our emails, texts, or calls, and their personality is welcoming when we have a concern. I appreciate their qualities and fairness. We are very lucky to have them as a leader.

This leader has the highest work ethic in our field. They motivated our group to excel in providing smart and safe care to our patients. They evaluate the needs of the new nurses and coordinate education and mentoring programs for the entire system. They promote community services such as medicine / Thanksgiving food drive and Christmas toy drive. They challenge our team by creating different team-building opportunities, teaching initiatives, and various projects that improve our services. Their resilience in creating ways to maintain budget control is to be admired. This leader is a true ambassador for Baptist Health.
