All the nurses were great, but Miguel Martinez was special. He told me a story about a man who complained about the heavy cross he had to bear. God told him to pick any new cross, so the man picked up several and finally picked one. God said, “That’s fine, but it’s the same cross you had in the first place!” Even if we have hardships, it could always be worse. We are blessed. Thank you to everyone who took care of me and smiled while they did.
