Miguel was our ER nurse when my sister was taken by ambulance to the trauma center at Huntington after a bad fall. Miguel was "our guy" for 12 hours until we got a room at 5 am. He continuously kept us informed, showed extreme concern and personal attention to the patient and also to me, the accompanying family member.
When my sister had trouble with the MRI, he brought her medication. One expects professional efficient personnel, but Miguel was also kind. He even went with us to her room when she was moved out of ER. He was a patient and caring gentleman.
He made a scary, traumatic ordeal less so by human kindness.
