I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to Miguel for being such an amazing nurse and light for us at our most difficult time. Our son was said to not make it out of the hospital alive. There were many sleepless nights and tears that were shed. But it was Miguel's calming nature, assurance, comfort, knowledge, passion, encouragement, and support that made every day that much easier.
Miguel is an angel; we truly believed he was with us every step of our son's care. He helped in any way and was even there to provide comfort to my wife during an ethics meeting. If it wasn't for his tenacity and knowledge and guidance, I don't know where we'd be. Our son is now home with us and until this day, a year and 7 months later, we think of the exceptional care Miguel provided. He is our forever angel here on earth.
