Mika truly shines in all areas as the most Excellent RN. She is constantly noted to be the very "best Nurse" by the best RNs and physicians at KPLAMC!
Recently Mika had a patient undergoing a therapy not often utilized in ICU called burst suppression. I went to support her by teaching her about it. She soaked up the information like a sponge. Her patient was very critical, extremely busy and she worked tirelessly with a positive attitude to keep him stable.
Mika did the most amazing thing is that at the end of her shift, she wrote "on the spot" for everyone who helped her that day even though she was exhausted!
