Mika Wilson, BSN, RN

Mika is an exceptional nurse. Our floor patient was put on hospice, and the family was all here to say goodbyes. They all stayed in the room and in the hallway, awaiting her passing. Mika had the amazing idea to bring the patient and all of the family into the solarium even though it was at 3 am. The staff moved beds and chairs for each family member to sleep on to make sure they could be as comfortable as possible for this trying time. The family was extremely grateful for this to have their last "sleepover" with their sibling and daughter.
