Mikayla Smith, RN

After such a shocking and scary diagnosis and surgery I was admitted to CCU. Mikayla was my nurse several days in a row as well as my nurse a few days later when I was discharged. She continually exemplified all if not more of the DAISY criteria. Mikayla was very caring and showed incredible compassion. Her communication skills were top notch. She made me smile during a really tough time making my stay a little more bearable. Her professionalism was always present. She should be recognized for giving out standing care throughout my stay.
