My daughter's surgery was scheduled for 530 pm, but because her doctor was stuck at another hospital, it was delayed. They continued to call and keep us up to date on where the doctor was and they kept my daughter comfortable. Once her doctor arrived, the other surgeon for her appendix was not going to stay so they wanted to reschedule as it was already midnight. Mike was great and said that wasn't acceptable and looked around and found another surgeon to do the appendectomy. At 1 AM our daughter was finally taken in for surgery, thanks to Mike's insistence that she not be delayed further.
