Milena went into action. She returned in 20 minutes with a long-sleeved shirt and pants, so I could finally go home.
Milena would knock on my door before entering and address me as "Mr. R". She explained every pill and its purpose. I had difficulty swallowing a pill, so she cut it in half for me. When Milena had to stick me with a needle, she would always apologize for any pain it may have caused. Milena noticed how thin I looked. She asked me all about my dietary habits. She recommended that I eat 3 meals a day instead of two. She also arranged to have Ensure added to my meals. All these actions showed me that she really cares about me.

On my discharge day, there were many problems. I came into the hospital wearing a tee shirt and shorts, but the hospitalist wanted my arms and legs covered on discharge. Milena went into action. She returned in 20 minutes with a long-sleeved shirt and pants, so I could finally go home. Time and again she went out of her way to make me feel special.
