Miller provided exceptional care for my uncle during his recent stay at Seaside Providence. Following his admission to the emergency room, two days after a surgery at a different hospital. Upon his return to the Assisted Living center, he encountered disorientation and suffered two falls, prompting the care worker to bring him back to the emergency room. Once in the Med Surg unit, Miller attentively noticed my uncle's signs of discomfort during a doctor's visit and recommended a method to alleviate his pain. With the doctor's agreement, Miller, along with a compassionate assistant, facilitated the necessary relief through a procedure, ensuring my uncle's comfort. He smiled and became talkative for the first time. Unfortunately, the pain resurfaced after lunch. However, Miller and her teammate, fully aware of the unpleasant nature of the task, took it upon themselves to administer the procedure once again. Their dedication and commitment went above and beyond their duty, providing my uncle with much-needed relief. As a result, he slept well and woke up the next morning without further complications. The actions of these two remarkable individuals hold great significance, as my uncle had faced multiple misdiagnoses and premature discharges in the past. We sincerely appreciate the attentive and proactive care provided by nurses, assistants, and doctors who value their input. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Miller and her teammate for their dedication in performing a challenging task. Their exceptional service made a lasting impact, and we are sincerely grateful.
