Milly constantly goes above and beyond the care of her patients. She has a soft, gently, caring demeanor that is indeed role model behavior. I get many, many compliments when I round on patients and how they just love Milly. A daughter of a patient told me that at Christmas, Milly had a gift for each of her patients. "She did not want anyone to go without a Christmas present", she told the daughter. Milly purchased small gift bags and filled them with Blistex, Lifesavers, Tic-Tacs, Emery Boards and Hand Sanitizer. In her non-pretentious manner, Milly did not share this with me nor with her colleagues. Milly bonds with her patients and they always feel she exceeds their expectations. We are truly a fortunate unit to have a Very Special Nurse like Milly working with us and leading the way in excellent patient care.
